You’ve probably been reading about the changes happening as we pack to move north to The Balch Hotel–its a big shift after living in Southern Oregon 20 years. The realization of a deeply felt vision.

 

I’ve heard similar versions from many. Some that are close and yet, so far.

 

As we’ve stepped into making this vision a reality so many things could have gone wrong—and some did.

 

Yet it’s unfolding in a perfection and timing that we can’t even see right now. (Translation: this isn’t all neat and tidy yet. Big parts are still moving around.)

 

I’m learning to surf on shifting sands—and that allows us to bring our dreams to life.

 

I also know if I can do this, you can too. 

 

So many changes are happening right now. Not all of it is wanted…but what if it somehow is an expression of a desire you have, but it appears to be wrapped in the “wrong” package? So that you don’t even see it. Do you keep trying to “return to sender”? (I sometimes do!)

 

Getting something you want to happen in your life isn’t just about getting all the external resources to line up. It’s more about inner work: intending, prayer and support. (I wrote about this recently. Read more here….) 

 

Because let’s face it, even when it is wanted, manifesting great change can suck. It’s uncomfortable. We are wired for stability. And yet we crave more.

 

To keep moving towards our dream (or keep it moving towards us) we must find ways to work through whatever is unconsciously blocked or out of alignment, so our energy and emotion is in tune with the desired outcome. It’s not always a day at the beach. 😉

 

Which got me thinking:

 

How do you weave magic and possibility into your life when what’s showing up is different than what you intend or desire??

 

How come things manifest for some people and not others?

 

Is there something in the way of your dream happening for you??
