An Excerpt from The Magdalene Way

Several years ago I became engaged in a meditative writing practice to connect with my soul to unearth my life purpose. In that process I quite unexpected started receiving guidance regarding the awakening of the Divine Feminine from Mary Magdalene. And I was told to write a book about this.

While I have long felt a spiritual connection with her, this was still extremely surprising. Today I was working on the book and here is the guidance I received.

I wanted to share about as aspect of the divine Feminine that relates to our relying on deities to find holiness, rather than finding it within ourselves. In this piece Magdalene identifies her role in this work and how she may or may not relate to others that could be drawn to the Divine Feminine.

Magdalene: There is the piece about the exaltation of the feminine that is not expressly named. This is all about reconnecting women  to their unique, divine feminine essence.

This is an intrinsic part of your work and it is so woven into you and what you do that you do not even see it. It is part of your blessing, and is your essence, through and through.

This project relates to and through me, but is not necessary to be named as me, per se. I am your access point, but it is not necessary to use me for this connection to be made.

There are many other aspects of the feminine divine that one may connect with, as well. The primary import is that women find a divine aspect of themselves to connect to, external or internal, it matters not which.

However it is relevant to say that by connecting to an external image there is a greater sense of “holy”, which is a plus. You are better able to see this in another, especially when she is a a divine archetype.

The disadvantage of this is that there is also a greater disconnect from real life, everyday living, which is holy as well. Your own holiness becomes externalized in another. This is false illusion that we are hoping to break down.

By relying on an external deity, your personal experience of the divine self in your everyday life, is somewhat lost. There can be a perception that one needs to go to someone else (a Goddess or Savior) to make that connection, or get the guidance. In fact you are as much a spark of the divine as I or Yeshua (Jesus).

Your culture has taught you otherwise, but you are “it” (divine God, Goddess) also. He (God in the long white robes) is not out there, you know this. Well, She (his feminine counterpart) is not “out there” either. You are remembering this.

I am an aspect of you, a divine self embodied in another lifetime, a different life form. We are all one.

C: Excellent, I get it. For me divine shows up as you because I like you and resonate with you. But divine could show up in many forms and that form is not important.

You are not even the access point for awakening the divine feminine in others. Its really inside us and we place it outside and make it/you divine. In other words, they do not need to be aligned with The Magdalene Way in order to benefit from this. Right?

MM: Right.

C: So then the book, that is aligned around you and your story though, is is not? How then will non-Magdalenes be drawn to this work, if they are not drawn to you?

MM: Do not make me the centerpiece.  I am the side story. YOURS and this awakening Divine Feminine are the central tale. This is about YOU finding your way to your Christ consciousness, your Sophia self. Show them The Way, the light.

Claire: oh….(gulp)
