Amazing. It’s the last week of our Crowdfunding Campaign on IndieGoGo. We’ve raised over $2000. Quite a bit shy of our $25,000 goal. But there’s still time! (To see more, go here)

And boy, have I learned a lot.

We’ve discovered that when you go for your dream, a lot happens along the way. As we’ve moved closer to our intended destination, things occurred that have could never have been predicted or planned.

Great things like seeing all the names of contributors, known and unknown. (Thank you!!) And obstacles come up.

It’s sometimes easy to mistakenly think this means “it’s not meant to be.” I recently discovered a belief that spiritually aligned projects should be easy and always flowing. Not always!

It’s not about “easy”. So much here is out of our control. Especially when your dream includes other people as project partners, clients, family, etc. (So, in other words, always.)

And BTW, I’m not saying that manifesting our dreams has to be hard, either–just that sometimes it is, and that doesn’t mean anything about you or your dream not being “right.”

Recently a colleague was reminding me, “Anything this ‘big’ is full of risk.…You’re deluding yourself if you think you’re going to rid yourself of the anxiety, scariness and jitters. So much is at stake: you are completely changing your life…. “

Often we think that fear/anxiety is a sign that we are not supposed to do or be something when in fact it is sign of growing. It’s a new you! Of course you’ll feel the jitters of “can I really do this?” But if you dream it, you can be it.

Are your dreams and destiny getting stopped by your very real and valid emotions?

When this happens, instead ask yourself, “Who do I really want to be?” How do you want to show up in your life story?  Reconnect with this Self. Align with your Goddess Guide for higher guidance. Be Her.

In fact it’s just a developmental step. Digging deeper into who you REALLY want to be, and what you truly desire. It takes commitment, staying in alignment with your vision and values. And to keep showing up!

When we practice taking action inspired by higher guidance our path aligns with our purpose.  It’s not always easy, but it doesn’t mean it’s not worth doing.

Boost the Balch to Brilliance (our crowdfunding campaign) will provide funding for a boutique destination hotel that merges old world charm and new paradigm consciousness.
