Environment is Everything
As we’ve gotten further into manifesting this dream of a boutique hotel for retreats, I’ve known that the work I do will shift and uplevel dramatically.
How could it not? Environment is everything. Our thoughts and feelings are potently impacted by the land and people where we live and breathe. Who we are gets reflected in the spaces we inhabit. Which is what makes this transition so big…And the environment in and around the Balch Hotel is so potent.
So whether you visit us at The Balch Hotel (lobby, right) or not, you’ll experience it in weeks to come. I asked Mary Magdalene in meditation about how this new life was connected to awakening Feminine Soul.
In my morning writing meditation (the practice I used to write The Magdalene Path) Magdalene told me something that changed my life (again):
“You will create a gathering place for women (and men) from all over the world to congregate. Indeed, you are raising a New Temple to the Feminine Divine, disguised as a hotel. In this place you will have the ambiance and energy that will allow women to awaken to their highest and best potential, in physical form. This domicile of Feminine Soul will be adorned with luxury and simplicity, so that women can relax, unwind and reconnect with their weary and worn Spirit.
Environment is everything and you will be basking in a new world….creating personal and group experiences that are embedded with organic luxury… The expanse and quiet of the countryside with wide meadows, big sky and majestic mountain will inspire expansion.”
The whole vision popped.
I see a place where you can get away from the business/busyness of our hectic modern world. Near the city, but a world away. So you can align with your Feminine Soul Self—who you REALLY are—and receive the guidance you need to be Her.
Here’s my vision:
You might be alone (ahhh), with sisters on a girlfriend getaway or part of a retreat group. When you arrive you’ll be greeted with an infused herbal cocktail, and relax in the parlor or patio. You’ll wander from the turn of century lobby to your cozy room, filled with period antiques and a comfy bed. Nibble homemade chocolate chip cookies. (Trust me: yum!) Enjoy a synchronistic connection with a guest.
Later, experience a delicious anointing ritual as body treatment or a bliss inducing aromatherapy facial in our sweet spa. Then lounge in a hammock or do yoga in the garden or journal by the pond. Make Soul Art with me for an afternoon.
Even if you can’t come here physically, you can still experience the Magdalene Magic in virtual programs that elicit clarity and connection with Source, Self and Sisters. We’ve got some exciting plans that translate into delicious soul-stirring on-line experiences that fit into your life…wherever you are.
