A New Temple to The Feminine?

Last issue, Josiah Dean wrote a guest article about how finding his purpose eluded him for so long. It was right in front of him, but it seemed so big and impossible he couldn’t admit it to himself. Once he did, it started to manifest right before his eyes.

What dream might be “hiding in plain sight” right in front of you?

He shared 3 Steps To Realize his Dream…and you can do it too: (read it here)

iggArticle4 pic1This quest for deeper meaning is triggered at various times. For many it happens at midlife.

My purpose drive started in my late 20’s with a gnawing soul hunger to be and do what I REALLY came here for. It eluded me for years, until I got the guidance to write The Magdalene Path.

The good news I see with a lot of women is we’re not that far off. Often we are doing/being our purpose, but we are playing it safe, dimming it down, and staying muddled in indecision.

The trickier process is to get clarity then be visible, stand out, and have impact. It’s often more challenging than it sounds.

In a world that values sameness and in service to safety–especially for women–standing in our purpose triggers insecurity and danger. (It’s not real, but it sure seems it.)

But none of the juicy goodness of life that we crave is found there. Following your purpose means facing those fears as the shadows they are. And cultivating a place for yourself in a world where you can shine as your authentic self.

The path of Feminine Soul is intrinsically about accessing the inner power, passion and possibility of your innate femaleness. It’s messy, organic, creative, intuitive and in the flow of life. As western women it’s largely been trained out of us—we’ve become mini-men.

Women report massive levels of anxiety, depression, and chronic (adrenal) fatigue; insomnia and lack of libido are status quo. The drive to over-commit and over work is so strong we don’t know when (or how) to quit. (All symptoms of the disconnected feminine.)

Instead, start to live a life of activated, embodied, radiant beauty and sensuality. Find daily practices that reconnect you with the deeper, wiser aspect of your being: your Feminine Soul. Follow Her guidance, whether it’s the archetypal wisdom of Mary Magdalene or another aspect of the Divine.

Our vision is of a place where people can relax, reconnect and rejuvenate away from the stresses of modern city life.

We’re merging my husband’s forte to create a hotel with old world country charm and new paradigm consciousness, to offer soul-stirring experiences connecting with Source, Self and Sisters.

Then it dawned on me: The Balch Hotel is a new Temple to Feminine Soul, disguised as a hotel.

And our upcoming virtual events will capture this effervescence, so even if you never come physically, your Spirit can flourish here. So let’s Bring the Balch to Brilliance and build this new temple to the Feminine Divine.

It takes a village to raise a dream. Yours, mine, ours. Go here to help us and then let us know how we can help with yours. We’ll be there for you.

So far we’ve raised $1800! We’ve got 12 days left.

Thanks to our co-hearts in this collaboration: Katherine, Ann, Julia, Ellen, Marcy, Heather, Meadow, Kate, Cathy, Mary and Rob, Celeste, Elizabeth, Mar, Lion, Andy, Mary W, David, Tina, Dawn, Theresa, Michelle, Mel, Doranne, Joel, George, Mary and Greg!

Great Gratitude for all your Blessings and Support,
