Big Hairy Vulnerable Ask

Last week was kind of a crazy confluence of big births. Are you noticing that, too?

After many long months we accepted an offer on our house.

The next day we launched a crowd-funding campaign for The Balch Hotel which we’re going to turn into a sustainable boutique hotel and retreat center. See more here.

IndeGogoLogoLike many big moments it was so unfathomable that it didn’t seem real. I mean, who gets to buy a hotel, anyway?

It really begs the question: Can we make our dreams come true? Turns out you can.

But its not all white light, angels, positive thinking, wand-waving, and *poof* there it is. (Though a little of that sure is sweet!)

It takes some finesse and mindset. And Teamwork, which is where you come in.

You see, this isn’t just about MY dream—it’s about creating a reality where everyone is living their own dream, a New Earth.  We’re offering a shift, a new way of relating to planet and people, while doing business. One that feeds our hearts, souls and pocketbooks.

The Balch Hotel is the expression of our vision: collaborative sustainable luxury in hospitality and retreats. It’s a place you can rest, revitalize and restore, off the beaten path, but near big cities of Portland and Seattle. It’s a remarkable spot and we’re excited to share it.

And how does this relate to The Magdalene Path and living your Feminine Soul? Just yesterday morning I had  stunning realization: we’re raising a New Temple to Feminine Soul, disguised as a hotel. HOW COOL IS THAT?!

So far–at the beginning of our official launch–we’ve raised over $1000. Woot! woot!. We’re almost 5% there! And we’ve got a ways to go. We have 22 days to fund our dream and reach an outrageous goal of $25,000.
