Winter is full on in the Pacific Northwest. Its snowing! This dramatic energy shift inspired an article for you about surrendering to the energy of the season and enjoying the blissings that come from winter’s cold dark depths. Some years that’s been a challenge for me, so I added an excerpt below, from The Magdalene Path, a short but potent activity to deepen and enhance your winter experience.

And yes, the book is available for you, just in time for holiday gift giving!

I figured your inbox was flooded with emails extolling the virtues of Gratitude, so figured I’d give that a rest. Don’t get me wrong, Gratitude is a crucial path in our Divine Feminine awakening, but it’s a life practice, not just trendy for the holiday.

It’s now, in the weeks after Thanksgiving where we really put our gratitude muscles (?!) to the test.

Days are short and dark, nights are long and cold — it’s easy to start to feel low energy, quiet, introspective and internal. If we are used to being “up”, always light and bright, this can seem like a problem. It doesn’t have to be.  It’s just a shift from outer to inner. From expressive sun to reflective moon and stars. (And please, forgive me, friends in the Southern Hemisphere, I know this does not apply.)

As we enter winter our natural urge is to nest, reflect and retreat, just as holiday stressors, family gatherings, social obligations and incessant gift shopping pushes us outward. The expectations of our culture are opposite our natural seasonal cycle. It’s a strange paradox we’ve created here. (And it can be kind of crazy-making.)

But surrendering in, it’s a season for soul-searching, sorting and sifting the harvest of our year on the outer and inner planes: both physically, mentally emotionally and spiritually.

As we look at what our year has delivered (what we have co-created, really) we then start to look ahead to the New Year just over the horizon, and what we want to create. Beautiful. (Below, I’ve  excerpted a practice from The Magdalene Path that helps you discover what that might be.)

So if we don’t take the time and honor our inner impulses of the natural cycle, we can miss this gorgeous window of opportunity and instead stay in the gerbil wheel of superficial material acquisition that our culture so loves us to participate in. Talk about a missed blessing!

Speaking of missed blessings — in case you’ve missed our free 3 part virtual retreat series in November, I decided to extend them with ONE LAST bonus call. I want to gather our circle again for a more experiential and intimate conversation. In 30 minutes these calls were rich and deep, but short on interaction and I want to create space for Q&A and discussion, along with experiential actiivties and creative soul-rendering for integration. YAY!

So for a mid-holiday season treat, join us for 30 minutes of Feminine Soul bliss. Shift out of the exhausted overwhelmed masculine mode of do-do-do. BE the Divine Feminine Goddess you truly are.  Lift off the shackles and soar. I want you to experience this possibility.

Nov_teleseminar_banner_jpegIf you want to experience this for yourself, its not too late to join us.  The last session is NEXT WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 11, 5:30 pm PT. Click here to sign up! (Yes, you’ll get all the recordings. And its free!)
