Wow, are we half through March already?! Seems just last week we were wishing each other happy New Year and setting intentions. So how’s that going? Do you even recall what your intention was?

I’ve been talking to many people who had big new ideas for 2013 that stalled lately. You?  Seems we are dealing with residual clean up from the expansion (or whatever) of 2012. Surprise: something new to meet and love!

Lately I’ve been enjoying the medicine of taking small steps everyday, to balance my propensity for thinking so big and having so much to do, that  I get overwhelmed and overcooked.  (Sound familiar?)

I mean taking 5,10 or 20 minute actions that work towards my intention, something I desire, a goal. Its so obvious and simple yet it’s been such a game changer.

Go Smaller?

Choose a simple step to do every day. Something so small that your overachiever self would be embarrassed to admit was on your to-do list. She might chide you, “5 minutes of —-, what good is that? You should do at least 45!”

Start small, so you can’t wiggle out with the “I’ve got not time” excuse. (It robs you of so much joy.) When I do this, I feel like a Goddess.

Some examples: You want to (or think you should) exercise for 30 minutes a day, you know it will give you more energy and help you feel more vibrants &alive, so walk around your block, you want to meditate  twice a day for 20 minutes to still your crazy-busy mind, so sit quietly for 5, You want to paint again so play with pastels for 15 minutes. Of course, if you are enjoying yourself, you can always do more, but DO NOT have to: you’ve met your commitment.

So much can happen in 15 minute increments. (I’ve been finishing paintings, stretching, getting outside and more — all this way!) It is AMAZING the shift that occurs from this short burst.

And if 15 minutes of something you want to do seems too impossibly much, choose 5. if you can’t fit in 5, we really need to talk. But do something, or admit it’s not really YOUR desire and take it off your list.

But first you need to know what your goal or intention is, right? I’ve excerpted a section from my forthcoming book, The Magdalene Path, that clarifies the difference between wishes and dreams, so you know where you are going. There’s a practice at the end that guides you to meet your Holy Desire.

The Magdalene Path is coming!

The Magdalene Path book is in that exciting final stage!! Sent to my editor this week. Last month I shared a powerful excerpt from The Magdalene Path that is a HUGE mindset shift that jumpstarts you in living in Heaven On Planet Earth, (or HOPE.) Go to the Blog post here, if you missed it. I find this perspective (and practice) incredbly life-changing.

In the meanwhile, I wanted to excerpt another process for creative visioning from your heart, (also from the book) that I received in meditation with Mary Magdalene.

As I go to hit send I’m struck with a moment of doubt….is really helpful? Let me know if it is. And if not, what is your Holy Desire and how can we start to make that happen, today? I’m cooking up some new workshops, programs and teleseminars to share these teachings, insights and tools. Now’s the time to let me know what you are needing!

It’s been a while, so I’ve decided to open up a few spots for Bliss Breakthrough Sessions, to support you in going from Disconnected, Overstressed and Unfulfilled to Radiant, Creative and Alive. These are 1/2 hour complimentary consultations to see what’s blocking your bliss. Hit “reply” to let me know you’re interested and we’ll set something up.
