Something New Ahead

"Callings are essentially questions. They aren't questions you necessarily need to answer outright; They are questions to which you need to respond, expose yourself and kneel before." Gregg Levoy For the past 6 or 9 months I 've been feeling and writing about this shift. 2012 seems like an amplifier, a booster on what already lives in our hearts, that longs to be expressed in the world. Finally! My call has been to increase my reach to more people, to find more/better ways to share a message about fining purpose and the impact of the Divine Feminine in our awakening.

Starting the Shift in 2012

2012-01-27T14:07:04+00:00

I love retreat and renewal at the turn of the year. This dark inward time really inspires me to journey and reflect on what just passed, and vision about what lies ahead. So a week or so ago, I gathered together a roomful of women, lovely professionals from the education, healthcare and hospitality industry into a gorgeous log and stone Northwest lodge overlooking the Rogue River. The day was mostly clear  and we sat around a great stone fireplace for Shift 2012 Retreat, sipping tea and taking turning by the hearth. (Snow stormed warded off--intention setting in action!) Whenever I

Welcoming 2012 Retreat

2011-12-18T20:04:34+00:00

January 15, 2012 10 a.m.-4 p.m.  in Grants Pass, Oregon   "The world will be changed by Western Women" H.H. the Dalai Lama   As this intense year ends, another one begins. Many are feeling called inward during this deep season of reflection and renewal. Women everywhere are feeling called to create change in our lives. We feel compelled by the words of the Dalai Lama and yet confused as to how that applies to us. No longer are we satisfied with feeling exhausted, stressed, burned out and depressed by conditions in our lives that seem too big to change.

Forget Your New Year’s Resolutions

2011-12-16T19:48:33+00:00

Forget your New Year’s Resolutions. You can’t remember them by Groundhog's Day, for pete sake, so how can they create lasting change?   And why do that to yourself? Those lists, those promises, who do they belong to anyway?   Let’s talk instead about what is really in your heart. What dream are you aching to create? Start there. Right now. Write it down, even in a private place, on a tiny scrap of paper that no one else will see.   There, doesn’t that feel better? It's out of you. But shoot, that’s huge and scary to see it,

Solstice Greetings – An Invite to 2012

2011-12-10T19:42:33+00:00

Brrr….winter. We enter the deep, dark time of inner exploration, oddly offset by holiday  merriness (some might say madness.) Candles and twinkly lights abound, reminding us of the light within, the spark of Spirit that lays dormant. Time for quiet and contemplation. This is a season of that inward journey, enhanced by numinous numerology with 11-11 just passed. The expansion and potential is still present, and yet we feel our attention turning to the curiosity of 2012. Two quick things I want to point you to: First, for local friends, I want to invite you to a New Years’ Day

A Question for You

2011-11-18T19:24:59+00:00

We had 80 people join the the Portal of Possibility virtual meditation retreat, an outstanding response. Clearly a "yes" to greater possibility and potential. I'm hoping you enjoyed it and had time to listen to the replay if you were not able to visit with us "live". Based on the suggstion of a few readers, I developed a short coaching program, to keep the momentum and energy going as we cruise into 2012. I know the Portal  of 11/11/11 remains open and there are likely to be challenges as we step into our bigger self expression and possiblility, personally and

Your Gateway to 2012   So many of us are feeling big changes all around, within and without. Some are fabulous & easy, some are  bumpy  & rough. As life intensifies, many also sense a bigger calling, a deeper sense of purpose and possibility of who we are here to become. And sometimes our own lives, or our own efforts to step into this new reality, fall short of this mark. With that comes confusion, despair, frustration, burnout and overwhelm. Moving forward seems slow at best. It’s really time to align with your Soul Self, reconnected to Truth of your being

Self Care is Soul Care

2011-11-01T19:14:56+00:00

Think about this: when you do something that is “self care”, its really soul care right? What’s your form of self care?   Whether its meditation, prayer, talking to a dear friend, taking a walk, writing in your journal or working out— it feels good inside for a deep and tender part of you.   Its good for your Soul, isn’t it? I wonder if we thought it was “good for us” as a spiritual practice, we might be more inclined to give this to ourselves.   I’ve been pondering why it’s so difficult for most women to give to

Awe of October

2011-10-11T10:10:18+00:00

Sh…don’t say it: end of summer. I resisted it for so long: stamped my feet, pounded my fists, plugged my ears. I would not hear it. Then this week, voila, its here and I love it: Autumn. The air is cooler, the light is clearer, sparkling.   I’m out of resistance. I’m in awe of Autumn. It tricks me into loving it every time. It takes me a while to warm up to it, I’m not ready to let go at Labor Day or Back to School.   With my Divine Feminine book in the capable hands of my editor,
